The Ridgeway Gin Festival 2016

What’s not to love about a project involving a summer gin festival? Existing clients, The Ridgeway Bar and Kitchen asked us to create an identity for a campaign to promote 18 craft gins on offer and a ‘gin passport’ reward card. Customers could collect stamps on their passport entitling them to a free glass of craft gin after 9 purchases during the month-long festival.

We created bespoke hand-drawn illustrations of juniper berries, lemons, limes and all kinds of fruit that featured in some of the speciality gins available. A zesty colour palette of yellow and green with a punch of red provided a summer vibe and a twist on some well-known phrases were utilised as playful hints to kick-back and enjoy a well-earned glass of craft gin on a summers evening. By using the same typefaces and graphic elements as the core brand, we were able to maintain consistency to enable customers to recognise that the campaign was promoted and held at The Ridgeway Bar and Kitchen. 

NB. No designers were harmed during the research stage of this project.
