Portstock

Portstock is a one day annual event with a diverse selection of music, local food traders, stalls and workshops. Newport has always had a strong music culture and the aim of the festival is to embrace the local community’s enthusiasm whilst delivering a great day out for all. It’s for a good cause too, with all proceeds supporting the work of St. David’s Hospice Care which means attendees are making a positive difference to patients and their families throughout Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and South Powys.

We designed an identity inspired by the 60’s psychedelic design prevalent around the time of the original Woodstock in 1969. The brand translated well across both print and digital with posters, signage, t-shirts, social media and a website.
