For this project we created:
Brand Identity / Website / Advertising / Animated Idents
Cardiff's first women's health festival.
We were tasked to create a bespoke brand identity and website for ‘EveryWoman’, a new women’s health festival (and first!) held at Insole Court, Cardiff in June 2023.
The festival seeks to empower and support women, and those assigned female at birth, on health topics often considered difficult or taboo to talk about, from menopause, to pelvic health & mental wellbeing. Despite being predominantly medical and health based, it was clear from the offset from the team that the brand should not appear medical or corporate. Instead, the brand had to be fresh and modern enough to appeal to a young audience, whilst taking care not to exclude women of all ages, from varying backgrounds, religions and cultures.
Attendees of the festival can expect a day packed with seminars, workshops, food & drink vendors and entertainment, all housed in the beautiful surroundings of Insole Court.

Created by women, for women.
With Julie's background as a Colorectal surgeon and lecturer, and Arwen & Ali's experience running Cardiff Medical Events, the team are well equipped and extremely passionate about making a difference to gender health inequalities and improving access to information for all communities.
Visualising the festival
As the festival hasn't yet taken place (put 24th June into your diaries!), it was important that we visualised the look and feel of the festival as much as possible to allow the team to get a real idea of the potential scope of the branding and how it could be applied in the future.
We created animated idents that would play in the background to introduce the seminar speakers, mocked up staging and proposed 3D cut outs of the abstract shapes from the brand and Every Woman letters made of ply to create the perfect festival photo opportunity.
Engaging, varied content for an organic following.
The wide range of abstract shapes and secondary colour palette allow for engaging social posts with varying looks, that still work together as a cohesive set over on the Instagram grid.
As the event was completely new and needed to grow organically relatively quickly, we proposed a varied selection of online content that was:
Educational: Sharing facts to raise awareness around taboo subjects and health inequalities.
Empowering & Positive: Daily affirmations to make the Every Woman social channels a positive and refreshing follow.
Sales-based with gentle reminders: Regular, but gentle reminders to boost ticket sales & workshop/seminar bookings and raise awareness of the festival.
A tailored-made website built to save time and costs on admin.
